The City of Holcomb operates on a Mayor/Council form of government. Council members are elected to four-year rotating terms. General elections are held in November of each odd-numbered year.
The filing deadline for city elections is 12:00 noon on June 1st unless the deadline lands on a weekend. If the deadline falls on a weekend, the deadline becomes noon on that following Monday. In cities of the third class, candidates may file with the county election officer or the city clerk. Candidates filing for office in Holcomb must either pay a $5.00 filing fee or submit a petition signed by 25 qualified electors of the city. Contact the city office for more information or if you have more questions.
